Interesting Use of Camera Movement
This tracking shot is taken from the movie Goodfellas. I think it is really interesting because the camera moves along with the characters as if you were walking behind them following. It is also cool to see the whole environment they are in as they are walking through the restaurant.

I had this same shot to highlight an interesting camera movement. I love the way this tracking takes you through the club in the exact way they would be walking. It really makes you feel like you are there.

This is a GREAT example of tracking. I show it when I teach EN 311.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really good example of tracking - its almost like we're stalking these characters all the way down into the restaurant. Its a also a good was of being introduced to the setting of the scene.
